Mystery Messages
I never liked the chalky Valentine heart candies, but I always loved reading the messages written on them.
BE MINE. LOVE YOU. HOT STUFF!
We took the idea of simple messages on the hearts and created a mystery messages activity. This is a quick and easy activity to set up, and it never fails to disappoint.
You need:
water color paper (or any old paper will do!)
white and red crayon
water color and brush
Do:
Draw hearts on paper with crayon with red crayon, then write the mystery message inside with white crayon
Let your little one paint inside the heart to reveal the mystery message
We are working on sight words right now, but the beauty of this activity is that you can adjust it to whatever you need! Letter, numbers, sight words, CVC words, math facts…anything you can think of!
